Higher Education Sprout Project Office would like to express our appreciation for your support, cooperation, and assistance so the project can implement smoothly.

The 2022 Higher Education Sprout Project, in accordance with the planned activity processing date and overall funding planning considerations, "licensing courses (starting from February to April), international scholars, cross-border seminars, and independent plans for fulfilling social responsibilities".

The application deadline is now open till 17:00, Tuesday January 11, 2022. 

The others are now open till 17:00, Wednesday January 26, 2022. 

School, departments and administrative units are welcome to file applications. Faculty members who are interested to apply, please complete the application before the deadline.

Staff of Higher Education Sprout Project Office will collate the applications and send for the university committee for review. 

Important notices for applications:

23 items are open for application in 2022. Please refer to appendix 1 for the forms to be completed for each item (Forms can be filled in without logging in the e-form system.). The contents to be filled in are different for each item; please carefully read through the application instructions for follow-up review.

Project implementation period is calculated by calendar year instead of semesters. As we need to complete the project review process, the starting and ending time for the project implementation should be from February 1 to October 31, 2022. Budget verification should be completed within 15 days after the project is ended and the conclusion report must be submitted within 30 days. Projects with capital expenditure are required to complete the receipt and budget verification procedure before July 31, 2022.

Projects should be implemented within the designated schedule. If you encounter any difficulties during the implementation process, please contact the Higher Education Sprout Project Office. Principal Investigators with records of remaining funds for the current year will be used as the assessment reference for the fund application of the following year.

Please carefully plan budget amount and expenditures and refer to “Principles of Budgeting for the Higher Education Sprout Project” (Appendix 2) and Ming Chuan University Higher Education Sprout Project Budgeting Standards” (Appendix 2) as references for budget review.
