2018.09.26 2018 Academic Year Student Thesis Contest of the Economics and Finance Department

Competition Date:  Am 9：00-12:00, 2018.12.21 (Fri.)

Evaluation: There are two rounds of evaluation and the winners will be selected by a committee and students.

In the first round

the theses submitted will be evaluated on the basis of the documents, such as quality, form, clarity, creativity, technical merit, significance of research subject and etc. Theses that sufficiently meet the criteria will be selected by a selection committee and the authors enter the second round to give oral presentation to compete with each other.

In the second round

The oral presentation competition will be judged by a committee and also voted by students during the oral presentation session. The most important criterion is the content of the presentation. In addition, the presentation quality, the control of presentation time etc. will also be considered.

 Deadline for submission of thesis:

2018.12.07 (required to submit a copy of thesis and e-paper)

Announcement for candidates in the second round of contest:  2018.12.14

Notes for presentation: 20 mins for each team; the number of speakers for each team can be more than 1 person. Please dress formally during the presentation.

Place: to be announced

Prize: The presentation bestow a cash amount of NT$5000, NT$3000, and NT$2000 to the first, second, and the third prize recipients, respectively. In addition, Most Popular Prize will be awarded to another 3 teams and each with a cash prize of NT$1000.
